Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are you ready to elevate your business? Tired of relying on third-party platforms or struggling with DIY websites? Is this within your budget? I don’t want you to stretch yourself too thin financially, but remember—this is an investment in your business's growth and your future success.
If you’ve reviewed my portfolio and resonate with my design style, fill out the inquiry form. It’s designed to help determine if we’re a good fit. Then, we’ll hop on a call to discuss your needs and ensure we’re aligned.
-
I typically schedule projects about a month in advance. This gives you plenty of time to gather your content or work with a copywriter, ensuring we’re fully prepared to get started.
-
If you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send you a proposal outlining our discussion and the cost. If everything looks good, you’ll sign the contract and pay your deposit to reserve your spot in my calendar.
If you’re undecided after the call, I’ll follow up in a few days to check in, address any lingering questions, and see how you’re feeling about moving forward.
If you decide not to work together, no hard feelings! I understand my services aren’t the right fit for everyone. If that’s the case, there’s no further action needed after our call.
-
After our chat, if we both agree it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule your project. To secure your spot in my calendar, you'll need to sign the contract and pay a deposit of 33% of the total project price.
-
Once you've signed the contract and paid your deposit, I’ll send you some homework: questionnaires to help me understand your business and vision for the project, along with guided content planners to assist in writing copy and gathering images for your website.
-
Before I begin designing, I’ll need to get to know you and your business. Then, you’ll need to compile all the content for your website (copy, images, etc.). Don’t worry—you won’t be alone in this. I’ve created questionnaires and guides to help you gather everything we need. Once the build is underway, you’ll review the site and provide feedback for any refinements or adjustments you’d like.
-
The web design and branding processes take 2 weeks each. A la carte services vary. For combo projects, the timeline is usually 3-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the deliverables and services you need. Schedule a consult call to learn more.
-
To launch your website, you'll need to purchase a plan from Squarespace. Check out Squarespace’s pricing form details.
Special features like e-commerce, scheduling, etc., come with additional costs on Squarespace.
If you require specific stock photos or fonts, there may be a one-time fee for these as well.
-
Squarespace is my preferred platform because it allows for the fastest and easiest website builds. It’s also user-friendly, so most clients can maintain their sites on their own. However, if Squarespace isn’t the right fit for you, I also have experience with Divi on WordPress, Webflow, and Wix.
-
I offer three more affordable options:
Audit: A 1-hour, one-on-one session where we can discuss anything you need. I can review your website, offer advice, help with simple fixes, or chat about business, design, or website-related topics.
À La Carte Services: Smaller design projects like packaging, business cards, and social media templates. See the full list of services here.
Template Customization: If you’re not ready for a fully custom website, you can choose a template, and I’ll help you adapt it to fit your brand.
-
You absolutely can, but it’s more challenging than it seems. I have the expertise and in-depth knowledge of the platform to achieve exactly what you need—efficiently and effectively. Plus, it’ll take you much longer to DIY, and let’s be honest, you have better things to focus on.
